McKenzie Re-Elected as Mayor of Hancock

The City of Hancock will have a familiar face leading its council. Lisa McKenzie, who was re-elected for one of the four at-large bids, was elected mayor of Hancock during last night’s organizational meeting. Ted Belej, who was also re-elected, was named Mayor Pro-Tem. They will both serve one year terms. Mary Tuisku and Joe Bauman were sworn in for the two other at-large bids. Ron Blau and Kevin Hodur were also sworn in two serve their partial terms in Wards 1 and 2, respectively.
