Charges have been filed against the Marquette man involved in a standoff incident last week. 28-year-old Christian Michael Nutini held police at bay for five hours last Tuesday. Officers say he fired a gun inside his home, and appeared to be suicidal. Nutini was arrested for one count of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of discharging a firearm in or at a building. The first charge is a felony punishable by up to four years imprisonment, and the second is punishable by up to ten years. Nutini is being held at the Marquette County Jail pending his arraignment. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash for each count.
