Marquette Makes List of Top Outdoor Locations

An outdoor travel website has selected Marquette as one of the top adventure travel locations in the world. The list, published on gearpatrol.com today, features the Marquette area as one of the 25 must-visit locations for 2015. Marquette was placed on the list because of a wide array of seasonal outdoor activities, thriving restaurants and brewpubs and excellent lodging options. Other places from around the globe on this year’s list include Istanbul, Turkey; Tangier, Morocco; Osaka, Japan as well as Washington, D.C. and Bend, Oregon.
