Marquette General Picks New Location

Marquette General Hospital is preparing to build its new campus within the City of Marquette. Duke Lifepoint officials have offered to purchase the old roundhouse property that the city owns. The Marquette City Commission will meet at 4:00 this afternoon to discuss the proposal. The roundhouse property includes 37 acres between West Washington Street and US-41. It’s a location that should be easy to access for Copper Country residents who travel there for treatment.
