30-year-old Scott Edward Krueger of Bruce Crossing, was arraigned this week on multiple charges after being arrested for threatening two men at a hunting camp in McMillan Township Saturday. Troopers from the Wakefield Post of the Michigan State Police responded to the incident at about 4:30 a.m. The two men, 26 years old and 55 years old, both from Ewen, told troopers Krueger entered their camp with a loaded shotgun looking for a bow he said had been stolen from his vehicle. The victims said they did not know Krueger and one victim managed to take the his shotgun away. Krueger was then told to leave and the victims pushed him out the kitchen door. The victims described Krueger and troopers stopped his vehicle as he was leaving the camp.
He was arrested for ‘felonious assault,’ operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated,’ and ‘possession of an uncased firearm in a vehicle.’ His next court date has not yet been set.
