This is test-week across Michigan.
Many fifth and eighth graders will begin taking the Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress, or M-STEP, starting today.
Other students in elementary and middle schools will be taking tests over the next month or so.
Administrators say the testing won’t take as long as in the past.
High school juniors will be taking the SAT exam on Tuesday.
Freshmen and sophomores will be taking the practice SAT.
