If you’re heading east today, you’ll be happy to know that Highway M-28 between Marquette and Munising is open for traffic.
Officials reopened the stretch between Kawbawgam Road in Marquette County and the City of Munising in Alger County around 5:00p.m. yesterday.
The road had been closed throughout the day and the previous night due to inclement weather where snow and high winds were causing white out conditions.
