Log Truck Driver Cited For Causing Accident

Police say the driver of a logging truck that spilled its load yesterday is at fault for the accident.

The spill happened just after 3:00 Wednesday morning on US-41 in Ely Township when the driver lost control of his rig, left the roadway and lost the load.

No injuries were reported.

The logs were moved off the highway and loaded onto another trailer.

20-year-old Skylar Schumacher of Baraga was cited for Careless Driving.
