Xi Sigma Pi Symposium Looks At Challenges In Wildlife Management

The Michigan Tech chapter of Xi Sigma Pi will host the 2018 Xi Sigma Pi Symposium, taking place from 2-5 p.m. Friday (March 23) in Forestry G002 on the Michigan Tech Campus.

This year’s theme is “Current Challenges in Wildlife Management.”

The speakers are:

  • Ruth Bennett, Cornell University, “Following Birds across Borders: Non-breeding Ecology and Conservation of an Imperiled Migratory Songbird”
  • Aaron Schultz, Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission, “Walleye Fishery Conflicts in the Ceded Territories”
  • Megan Baker, United States Department of Agriculture – Wildlife Services, “Managing Wildlife on Airports across the World”

The talks are free and open to the public.
