Music, food, fun and of course plenty of snow, are in store as Michigan Tech’s annual Winter Carnival officially gets underway today with the legendary All-nighter.
This year’s theme is “Snow Cascades Across the Decades.”
Blue Key Honor Society President Brad Torni says Carnival comes just in time.
Events will begin at 4pm and take place all night long at locations throughout campus.
Organizations competing in the month-long statue competition will be putting the finishing touches on their massive masterpieces, while those competing in the one-night category will combine creativity with expediency.
Once again Sound and Lighting Services will have music and dancing set up on a frozen dance floor, there will be karaoke in the Memorial Union Building Commons and plenty of food in Fisher Hall and outdoors, movies against a screen made of snow and much more.
