Unusually warm weather made for a pleasant night on and around the Michigan Tech campus, as students finished their Winter Carnival snow statues.
Efforts in the month-long and all-nighter competition will be judged after this morning’s 9:00 completion deadline. Results will be announced later today, and will be posted at KeweenawReport.com as soon as we receive them.
Other events on today’s schedule include the Stage Revue tonight at 7:00 at the Rozsa Center. Groups of students will present hilarious skits. The public is welcome, and tickets are available through the Rozsa Center box office. Tickets are also still available to see Winter Carnival comedian Mikey Day tomorrow night at 9:00. Only “standing room only” tickets remain for the Winter Carnival hockey games against Bowling Green tomorrow and Saturday.
