While the official start of Michigan Tech’s Winter Carnival is still a week away, the young woman who will reign over Carnival will be crowned this Saturday night.
Eight finalists, sponsored by local businesses and campus organizations, will aim to impress the large crowd and especially the judges with their poise, talent and intelligence.
This year’s finalists are Alexis Dani, Liesl Flannery, Rylee Price, Cathleen Saraza, Kelli Dekutoski, Amber Toboyek, Megan Schluentz and Shae Thompson.
The Queen Coronation will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts.
