The Range Lions are volunteering their time to ring the bell during the Yuletide season for the Salvation Army.
The club met at the Range Lounge in South Range for their regular monthly meeting.
They made $100 donations to Northern Airlifeline, Upper Peninsula Honor Flight for local area veterans, the Range Lounge for the use of their facilities, the Painesdale Mine and Shaft, the Salvation Army and Saint Vincent De Paul for their special needs and to Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly for firewood to be used to heat homes.
The Range Lions also announced the winners of their annual fall promotion for sight conservation and civic improvements.
The winners are: Week 3–Gail Baima & Mary Taddeucci; Week 4–Bob Whipple & Kathy Bonini; Week 5–Omer’s Golf Course & Mary Sivonen; Week 6–David Lucchesi & Laurie Raffaelli.
