The Western Upper Peninsula Health Department issued two press releases this morning.

The second press release announced they have begun to schedule site evaluations for sewage disposal and water supply programs.
The permit process requires the health department to conduct site evaluations before the installation of septic systems and water wells.
Inspections are also needed to complete real estate transactions.
