COVID-19 numbers continue to increase in the western Upper Peninsula.
The Western U.P. Health Department is reporting 16 more cases confirmed in Gogebic County since Thursday. Houghton County has five more confirmed cases, and two probables. Ontonagon County has one new probable.
The number of diagnosed cases in Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga, Ontonagon and Gogebic Counties now stands at 106. 24 recoveries have been confirmed. One person has died.
