Volunteers Needed For Haunted Mine

The Quincy Mine Hoist Association and Michigan Tech Visual and Performing Arts Department are teaming up with the goal of offering the best Haunted Mine Event ever.

Dates for the event are October 25th through the 27th.

This year’s theme is: Secret Portal to the 90th Level – Tourists have been disappearing only to reappear having passed through the eerie depths of the mine unseen for years!

The production team is looking for adults to serve as technicians, actors, tour guides, and attendants.  If you’ve ever thought how fun it would be to take part in scaring the daylights out of strangers, this gig is for you!

There will be a mandatory meeting with all volunteers on Thursday, September 20, at 6:30 – 8:00 pm, in the McArdle Theatre, Walker 207.

For more information, please contact Patricia Helsel, helsel@mtu.edu, (906) 487-3283.

Please fill out an information form prior to attending the meeting, using the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScH3yz0nK-l6ZaAFaqzFsUuguk22PtVQ2Iw23gng1PIFLov_A/viewform

The experience provides opportunity for service clubs and organizations to help in the legacy of preserving the history of the Quincy Mine.
