Village Of L’Anse Holds City Council Meeting

The Village of L’Anse continues to prepare for summer.

At last night’s brief council meeting, village manager Bob LaFave said city crews are working on water and road-patching projects.

Some amenities at Waterfront Park remain closed because of COVID-19 concerns.

Council members approved minor changes to the Village Information Manual.

The manual was created about 10 years ago.

It contains a wealth of information about the village, how it works, and whom to contact if issues arise.

Village president Ron Ervast appreciates it.

Anyone can access the manual on the L’Anse village website.

Several council members also expressed gratitude to those who designed the village-wide salute to this year’s L’Anse High School seniors.

A banner has been made for each graduate, with their name and photo.

LaFave said it was a joint effort.

The banners featuring this year’s seniors have been mounted on streetlight and utility poles along Broad Street and Main Street.
