Vietnam Veterans are now welcome to apply for the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight.
That means all veterans from 1941 thru May 1975 are now eligible to apply.
Anyone who served in war time or peace time during that period is eligible to fly to Washington D.C. with the U.P. Honor Flight.
A day of activities is planned for the wives of Veterans as well, following the success of a luncheon and shopping with the ladies for the September flight.
Organizers are still looking for World War II & Korean Veterans to go on the flight, and they will be given preference.
