The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team was busy last week.
On Wednesday, detectives received information that a known drug user recently purchased some household products that could be used in combination to manufacture methamphetamine.
The suspect was located at a cabin in Ishpeming Township. He was arrested for possession of meth. A female companion was questioned, and released.
Detectives also obtained a search warrant for a second residence located in Gwinn, where meth manufacturing equipment was seized.
Also on Wednesday, UPSET detectives raided an Escanaba residence.
Two men were arrested on charges related to distribution of meth. Investigators seized approximately 30 grams of meth and over $3,500 in cash along with evidence of drug distribution.
Both investigations continue.
