Unlock Michigan Collecting Signatures Today

Unlock Michigan will be collecting signatures today from 5 til 7pm at the Copper Country Mall parking lot.

They’re collecting signatures in hopes of starting legislation, which would repeal the Emergency Powers of Governor Act, signed into law back in 1945.

Critics of Governor Whitmer believe she is abusing this power, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Baraga County will be hosting a signature collecting event on August 13th from 5-7pm at the Baraga US-41 Park and Ride, and Representative Greg Markkanen will be on hand.

Keweenaw County will host an event at Mohawk Park, on August 15th from noon til 3pm.
