You’ve probably been to a rock concert. But, have you ever been to a concert about rocks?
You have that opportunity tonight.
The Michigan Tech Fine Arts Department has put together a unique program featuring music about rocks, and even rocks, themselves.
After a debut last night at the Rozsa Center, the program will be presented tonight at one of the rockiest venues in the Keweenaw – the Quincy Mine.
Stephen Rush from the University of Michigan music department is also involved…
Rush brought something unique…
Another piece will involve audience members actually playing rocks as part of the performance.
Performances begin at 6:00 and 7:30 tonight at the Quincy Mine.
