U.P. Blood Levels At Critical Low

There is a critical need for several blood types in the Copper Country.

The U.P. Regional Blood Center says supplies are critically low of A- and O+.

Plus, supplies of B+, B negative, AB+ and O+ are below optimal levels.

To help meet the need for blood, they are holding two blood drives on Wednesday.

The first is at the River Valley Bank in Houghton from 11am to 1pm.
