UPDATED – Two Jailed After Trimountain Drug Bust

Two Houghton County residents are facing drug distribution charges.

During a two-month investigation, detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team say they purchased methamphetamine from the pair. That led to a search warrant that was used to raid a home on Sixth Avenue in Trimountain this morning, where they say they seized meth, prescription drugs, money and other evidence of drug distribution.

Both suspects were arraigned in Houghton County District Court this afternoon on a charge of delivery or manufacture of methamphetamine.

Bond for 36-year-old Jeremy Joseph Brusso was set at $10,000 cash. His preliminary examination was scheduled for January 22nd.

Bond for 34-year-old Kristine Marie Brusso was set at $300 cash. Her preliminary exam is scheduled for February 3rd.
