Two bills have been introduced to the legislature, aimed at making life easier for Michiganders.
HB 5250 would eliminate the need for annual license plate tags.
Representative Matt Maddock, who introduced the bills, said “Over 60% of the foot traffic volume at a Secretary of State Office relates to obtaining a license renewal tab.”
HB 5171 would give commercial banks and credit unions the option to provide limited Secretary of State services.
