Two Chicago women have been arrested for trying to pass fake prescriptions in the Upper Peninsula.
Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team were called in Thursday, after the pair tried to obtain drugs at several Snyder’s Pharmacies in Marquette County.
State police troopers caught them Friday at the Snyder’s in Negaunee. The women locked themselves in their car, and initially refused to exit the vehicle. Officers waited them out, and booked them into the Marquette County Jail on felony charges related to obtaining a fraudulent prescription and resisting arrest.
