Tuesday Ballot Discrepancy Noted for CLK Board Election

Voters in the CLK School District will note a discrepancy on their ballots Tuesday. 

The section for the board of education candidates says to “vote for not more than three” candidates. In fact, only two positions are available.

Houghton County Clerk Jennifer Kelly says that the top two vote-getters will be awarded the positions.

Only two names will appear on the ballot. Melanie Parker and James Vertin are running for reelection.
