Trump Hosts Calumet Electronics At White House

Calumet Electronics is showing their support for American workers and getting recognized by the Trump administration for their efforts.

Director of Process Engineering Dr. Meredith LaBeau was among representatives from five industry leaders to represent the Association Connecting Electronics Industries that were invited to the White House this week.

She attended an event continuing President Trump’s Our Pledge to America’s Workers, an initiative of the National Council for the American Worker.

The initiative seeks to increase job training opportunities for students and workers at private sector companies.

The representatives were joined by President Trump, Chief Economic Adviser Larry Kudlow, and Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump.

Ms. Trump acknowledged a collective pledge on the part of private companies to create 6.5 million new jobs and training opportunities.
