A Trimountain man was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after his vehicle struck a tree. The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one–vehicle accident on Chassell Painesdale Road around 1:00 p.m.
33–year–old Jeremy Brusso was reportedly traveling eastbound when he lost control of his 2002 Buick Century. The vehicle went into a ditch and then struck a tree.
Brusso suffered head and neck injuries from the crash. He was taken to UP Health System – Portage for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
The Sheriff’s Office says Brusso was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
