Transfer Open House Today At Finlandia

Students who are thinking of making the switch to Finlandia University are invited to a Transfer Open House today.

The event will take place at the Jutila Center from 4:oopm to 8:00pm and will focus on the university’s new transfer pricing and online nursing program.

“We have new tuition transfer pricing for students coming in with transfer credits, with six or more transfer credits,” said Transfer Student Coordinator Craig Kangas, who will be answering questions about a new pricing model that puts Finlandia’s private college experience at a lower price point than many state schools, along with an easier admission and a fast-tracked application process.

Nursing Program Director Mark Miron will also be answering questions about the university’s online RN-BSN program, a first of its kind program offered in the Upper Peninsula.

Kangas said, “So if they have their RN license already, they can come in and complete their BSN program completely online.”

This event is free for anyone interested in learning more about transferring to the school and for those looking to advance their career in nursing.

“Come on out and see what we have to offer you, talk more about the academic programs and how your credits will transfer, and also look at your financial aid options,” said Kangas.
