Time To Renew Your Watercraft Registration

March is here, and that means it’s time to renew your watercraft registration.

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, is urging watercraft owners to renew their registrations online, or at a self service kiosk.

In addition to convenience and saving time, Michigan’s new user friendly self serve stations are getting rave reviews from customers who have used them.

So far, there are approximately 100 self serve stations to serve you, and by mid-April, 150 stations should be in service across the state.

Meijer and Kroger grocery stores will be a big part of the new system.

Residents can check here and here to find a self serve station in their area.

Currently, there are close to 900,000 watercraft registrations in Michigan, with ⅓ of those expiring this year.

Watercraft registrations are good for three years, and expire on March 31st of the third year.
