Tickets Still Available For Murder Mystery Ball Halloween Fundraiser

Murder Mystery BallHANCOCK, Michigan, October 8, 2016 – Join the Keweenaw Young Professionals (KYP) and The Calumet Players, Inc. as we put on a murder mystery ball you won’t soon forget! This event is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Continental Fire Company. Check-in begins at 6:00 pm, and the event runs from 7:00-10:00pm.

Be our guest (and the detective) as you join us for the Annual Devil’s Gulch Costume Ball.  Dress in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy tasty appetizers as you dance and mingle with our actors (or suspects) – but your real job for the evening is to solve the case! Become as involved as you’d like: ask questions, eavesdrop on suspects, examine the evidence, and at the end of the night, present your theory!

We encourage guests to come dressed for Halloween – anything goes! Get creative: we will have prizes for the best costumes.

“With one successful Murder Mystery event behind us, we wanted create an even bigger and better event this time around! This second event is a party that people of all ages can enjoy and participate in and the actors have done an outstanding job embracing their roles.”

This second murder mystery event is a joint fundraiser for the Keweenaw Young Professionals and The Calumet Players, Inc.

“The Calumet Players are delighted to partner with KYP for this second interactive theater experience,” said Erin Kauppila, trustee for The Calumet Players, Inc. “It’s an intriguing twist on traditional theater — the action happens within arm’s reach, so guests have the option to become a part of the story.”

Tickets for the murder mystery ball are $25.00 each. Each ticket includes a wide variety of appetizer options and a cash bar will be available. A total of 200 tickets are available; they can be purchased at https://thirstforblood.eventbrite.com. The appetizers will be catered by Finlandia University Dining Services.
