Tickets are still available for this Saturday’s Battle of the Bridge.
The puck drops at 7pm at the Dee Stadium, the birthplace of professional Hockey.
Tickets are $5 and proceeds will go to the Jacobetti Veterans Home.
The Michigan UP Veterans Hockey Club takes on the Saginaw Spirit Warriors.
The UP Veterans took the first game in the home and home series, but the Warriors are anxious to even the score.
The teams are made up of veterans, and other veteran organizations will be on hand, to offer assistance, if needed.
Autographed team jerseys and a “Chuck a Puck” will also be available, to help raise funds.
This is an excellent chance to thank a veteran, and help raise money for veterans in need.
Again, tickets are $5.
Active and retired military, public service professionals and children under 12, get in free.
