The best of local police and fire departments will face off once again in the annual Pigs N Heat hockey game next month.
Lt. Nick Roberts of the Houghton Police Department says the game serves as a fundraiser for crime and fire victims in Houghton and Keweenaw County.
There wasn’t a local Pigs N Heat game last year, so Lt. Roberts says both teams are looking forward to taking the ice this year.
Tickets are now on sale, 1 for $3 or 2 for $5, with lots of prizes including a skybox for the game, which will be played on February 4th at 7pm at Michigan Tech’s SDC.
