With confirmed cases of COVID-19 slowly increasing in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, calls to know more information about infected individuals are on the rise.
Kate Beer, Administrator for the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department, explained why details of a positive case, are not shared.
To date, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula has 17 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with two deaths.
One death was in Gogebic County on March 26th, while Dickinson County reported the latest death yesterday.
Houghton County has had 1 confirmed case, while 18 people are awaiting test results.
