One Upper Peninsula candidate is getting backed by the Motor City Madman.
Rocker Ted Nugent, an outspoken outdoor activist, will be joining Republican state senate candidate Ed McBroom for a rally in Marquette today 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
“Mr. Nugent has made a point of fighting for the people that find themselves staring down ridiculous government rules and officials,” McBroom said. “Come and hear from him how you can help Michigan be on the right path to protect your rights in the future.”
The event is taking place at the Rippling River Resort and includes gubernatorial candidate Bill Schuette’s running mate Lisa Posthumus Lyons and outgoing State Senator Tom Casperson.
The event is free and open to the public.
