Suspension Of Five Finlandia Students Upheld

Finlandia University released the following statement Friday afternoon concerning the suspension of five students earlier this week:

The Finlandia University Conduct Board has upheld the appeal of the five students who were suspended on December 6.

The University is now entering an internal investigation which will be completed within 10 business days.

Our top priorities are to ensure a safe community for our students and a fair process for everyone involved. During this time, the students under investigation remain suspended.

They are not allowed on university property and are prohibited from participating or attending university functions, events and activities on or off campus.

We will not release additional details until the investigation is complete. The results of the internal investigation are expected no later than December 23, at which point we will be able to provide more information to the Finlandia community.
