The Portage Lake District Library will host the Superior AmeriCorps Book Club for Kids celebrating Pajama Day on Saturday, May 13, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Kids ages 3 through 9 are invited to wear pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animal for bedtime stories. After listening to stories, kids will make a craft and watch a movie. Organic popcorn and apple juice will be served.
The Superior Americorps Book Club for Kids will continue throughout the summer from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on the following Wednesdays: June 21, July 12, July 26, August 9 and August 23. Each event includes stories and a craft, and kids will read about dogs, animals, arts and crafts, dinosaurs, and more. Every child who attends these events will receive a free book to keep.
