The Village of Calumet Downtown Development Authority is seeking two area residents to participate in a Steering Committee that will provide recommendations on the creation of a public green space in the former Sach’s Lots on 5th Street in downtown Calumet.
Committee members will be asked to help plan public outreach meetings, research issues that may arise and work cooperatively with other committee members.
The purpose of the committee will be to advise the DDA and Village Council on decisions related to planning, implementation and maintenance of the greenspace.
The candidate must be a resident of Houghton or Keweenaw County.
Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest with contact information and a general schedule of availability to the Village of Calumet DDA via e-mail to: info@mainstreetcalumet.com or by mail to: Village of Calumet DDA 340 6th Street, Calumet, MI 49913 no later than April 16th, 2019.
