The state managed ORV Route between the Portage Lake Lift Bridge and Dollar Bay has been reopened, after work was completed to create a bypass trail route.
The Western Upper Peninsula Health Department along with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, lifted an advisory this past Friday.
The advisory was put into place earlier this year, after hazardous materials were found in a part of the trail near the Julio Scrapyard properties.
