Stanton Township to Host Firefighters Tourney

This summer’s Copper Country Volunteer Firefighters Association Tournament will be hosted by the Stanton Township Fire Department.

It will be the first time in the 69-year history of the event that Stanton will host.

The tournament will be held June 24th. Races will be staged at North Canal Township Park beginning at noon. The Dress Parade will begin at 6:00 on Canal Road. The Firefighters Ball that evening will be held at the park, and feature music from Tom Katalin and Highway 41.
