The St. Vincent de Paul Society in Baraga County will clear nearly $700 from the recent L’Anse Christmas Tree contest.

20 businesses decorated trees for the holiday. Patrons voted for their favorites by making cash donations, which go to St. Vincent de Paul.
The L’Anse Downtown Development Authority covered the cost of the trees, and cash prizes to the top three finishers.
