Public Health officials have launched a new public education campaign, aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19, so the state can safely reopen.
“Spread Hope, Not COVID” is a collaboration of over 50 of Michigan’s leaders for healthcare, tourism, manufacturing and faith based organizations and is led by Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services.
Governor Whitmer said “This virus has devastated families across the state and had an unprecedented impact on our economy.”
The campaign will use tv and radio, along with social and digital media, to reach everyone.
The campaign’s message was based on a survey taken, which revealed 72% of Michiganders wear a mask whenever they go out in public.
