Progress is being made to recover from damage caused by massive storms in Gogebic County that struck just over one week ago.
Governor Rick Snyder paid a visit to the area on Monday to assess the damage.
Snyder described it as a once-in-a-lifetime storm.
Snyder issued a Declaration of Disaster last week, giving emergency officials access to more resources, such as the National Guard.
Even with repairs being done, some local residents remained concerned.
