A downstate man was injured in a snowmobile accident Monday.
The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the accident on Trail #3 just south of Koski Lake Road in Adams Township just before 8:00pm.
A 47-year-old man from Pinckney was heading south on the trail when he failed to yield at an intersection.
The driver lost control and was ejected from the snowmobile.
He was taken to U.P. Health System—Portage by Mercy EMS for treatment.
His condition was not reported.
Also assisting on scene were Adams Township First Responders.
