The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call regarding a snowmobile accident this past Saturday afternoon.
Approximately 1:53pm, Chilton, Wisconsin resident Michael Bangart was traveling North on Trail #1 approximately 2 miles South of West M64, when he hit a 20” rise and sustained injuries from his snowmobiles handlebar and windshield.
Bangart was stabilized on the scene, then transported to Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital ER.
No further information on his condition.
