Small Raises for Non-Union CLK Employees

Non-union hourly and salaried employees of the CLK School District will receive a modest raise this year.

At last night’s meeting, the Board of Education approved a 1.25 percent increase.

The Board also appointed Philip Halonen to fill out an unexpired term, and named Jason Wickstrom as vice-president.

Amy Gonigam was named to the Library Advisory Board. Maija Kytta was appointed to the CCISD Parent Advisory Committee, and Laura Miller was named coach of the bowling team.

The Board acknowledged a $10,000 donation from the Keweenaw Health Foundation to support the health of students and staff.
