Sixth annual Key Ingredients features new contest and fantastic lineup

Canal Run weekend will once again kick off with one of Hancock’s most memorable events of the year, Key Ingredients. This celebration of music and food throughout Downtown Hancock features live music performances and amazing chances to test the many unforgettable tastes of Downtown Hancock.

Everything starts at 6 p.m.  New this year is the Key Ingredients Visitors Card. Participants will be given a card to get stamped, and if they visit 8 spots they can enter to win one of two $25 Hancock Bucks certificates to spend at Hancock businesses.

Year in and year out crowds of hundreds come out to walk the Quincy Street strip. Live music fills the air. Delicious locally crafted food is served on nearly every block.

This year’s celebration will once again feature the main stage at Quincy Green with food stretching from the 100 block of Quincy Street to Gino’s.
The Quincy Green Main Stage host musical acts Mesun-Butcher Line, Vanessa Dulong and Last Minute Genius (from Ontonagon).

Other musical acts include Celtic Bagpipes, Apollo Trio, Eric Hopper, Steve Wright, Clay Hilman, Night Screamer, Fault Choir and Mike Irish, among others. In addition to the incredible live music, delectable food samples and snacks will be available at Copper Country Community Arts Center, Nutini’s Supper Club, Milly’s Pizza, Gino’s Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge, La Cantina, Kaleva Café, The Flower Shop, First United Methodist Church, and more!
