Simple Kindness for Youth is off to a great start this year as they raise money to help young people in the local area.
Their seasonal newsletter says their goal is to give out $20,000 in grants this year, which would bring the total amount to $100,000 since they began.
Several fundraising events have made the grants possible, including the Fun Run at the Copper Country Strawberry Festival and Chicken Bingo at Bridgefest.
SKY is also now partnering with the Copper Country United Way, which means people can donate to SKY through payroll deduction or direct donation.
