Several area nursing homes will be receiving a two week shipment of Personal Protective Equipment.
The shipments were authorized by Vice President Mike Pence, back in April.
The first shipment went out in May, and the second, should be going out this week.
The area nursing homes set to receive shipments of PPE include Green Tree of Hubbell Rehab and Health, Lighthouse at Hancock Health and Rehab, Portage Pointe in Hancock and Canal View Houghton County.
