Although hospice cannot add days to a person’s life, it most certainly can add life to their days.
Aspirus at Home hosted the annual Service of Remembrance Thursday, Oct. 19 at the Sacred Heart Church in Calumet.
The service honored loved ones who passed away in the compassionate care of hospice in the past year.
The program included a short non-denominational service by Hospice Chaplain Kathleen Johnson and included readings by members of the hospice staff.
Connie Boruta provided organ music.
Fifty nine names were read during the lighting of the candles in memory of loved ones.
Refreshments were shared with families, caregivers and the hospice team after the service.
